Michael Robinson
Co-Founder & Fractional CMO
Houston, Texas
Michael has led marketing over a number of technology/SaaS and professional services companies, focusing on profitable and predictable growth with both new and existing clients. He has scaled companies with strategies tailored to certain stages of growth – from startups of $1m, to category leaders of $50m-100m, and to global leaders of >$500m, as well as VC and PE backed companies with successful exits.

Michael graduated from Southern Methodist University with an MBA, and earned a B.A. in English Literature with a minor in Journalism from Baylor University. He finds cooking, rowing, biking, and running therapeutic both mentally and physically, and values time with his wife, soon-to-be-adult kids, and three dogs.
What We Believe
Execution Gap
Most GTM problems aren't strategy problems — they're execution gaps that strategy alone can't fix. The plan is usually fine. What breaks down is the gap between what leadership decided and what actually happens in the field.
Operators, Not Vendors
We've run revenue teams. We've sat in board meetings where the forecast was wrong and the plan needed to change — and fast. We don't advise from the outside. We embed in the work and stay accountable for outcomes.
Fix First
The fastest path to growth is fixing what's already broken — not adding more programs. Most companies need better execution of what they already have, not a new strategy on top of a broken foundation.
A word from our co-founders
Heidi Brown & Michael Robinson
"We built BrownRobinson because we've seen the execution gap up close. The fix isn't a better slide. It's an operator in the room, accountable when the numbers don't move."
